From watchin my TV

Wednesday I watched the riot
I seen the cops out on the street
I watched 'em throwin' rocks and stuff
And chokin' in the heat
I listened to the reports
About the whisky passin' 'round
I seen the smoke and fire
Of a market burnin' down
I watched while everybody
On the street would take his turn
To stomp and smash and bash and crash
And slash and bust and burn
