Let's get this boat in the water with the
Oars where they oughter
We'll row down this river to the sea
We'll sail off in the sunset to some
Place we ain't been yet
Just to say that we've been there you and me

There are islands in the ocean
You can't reach except by boating
Where the coconuts and mangos fall from trees
On the beaches soft as cotton
All your troubles soon forgotten
You can toss 'em up loose 'em in the breeze

If we never make it back here we won't care

If we wanna see Samoa

And the natives one supposes
Run around without their colossus
