Well the wind turned on Amelia just after sun-up
And this radio's been acting up all day
She disappeared in a cloudbank and the static never cleared
Well at least you never have to die this way

And they say she turned up again sometime in the 40's
Going by the name "Tokyo Rose"
Just a sweet voice on the airwaves floatin' out of Japan
But that doesn't seem too likely I suppose
