The blue hour has no ending.
And there's no "befriending" it away.
I'm chilled to the bone and the birds, they aren't singing.
So few remain.

I've never seen those evergreens so dark and gloomy.

How long has it been since she moved in, this place was once nice and roomy.

The success I was hoping for never knocked at my door.
Some say I have it all ...
Still, there's me, crushed when they holler, "last orders ... last call."
