I've seen a little child standing on the edge of a wharf
He didn't say a word but inside he was crying for love
Tears in his eyes cause father had left him alone on this place
When his father came back , he saw him crying and slapped him in the face

On a morning like this-why did I get up
I want to drown the world in my coffee-cup
I feel like aeroplanes fly in my head
I should have stayed in bed

I've heard too many prophecies that promised us a paradise to come
Too many ideologies told us the world will be one
A day without violence would make me feel strange
I've seen too many killings to belive this world could ever change

On a morning like this-why did I get up

I've seen too many people in this world that don't have a heart
Too many individuals criticise you before you start

Whatever will happen I know that I'll be there too late
