So humanity spits to the grave
Uncaring of what life gave
On the brink of death we wait to be saved
Once we're free a new path will be paved

To the listener there are two sides to the coin
As I now pronounce you and nature re-joined

The one will make and the other will break

Two choices for humanity
Unfathomed ugliness or beauty
And based on our inherent complexity
A choice of perfection or vanity

Because six people knew
That as cancer grew
The voice that was reason
Took acts we call treason
To stand up to the force
That had us divorced
From our mother called earth
On the day we birthed

Fight not for a nation
But rather for earth
