I was drifting 'round, I was feeling like wood
And I see that it was stuck with every change of my mood
I can see the shores, but the distance was fixed
No matter how much I steer toward the beaches I missed

I was hitting the reefs, I was twirling around

I could see the lighthouse but the light was the sun
It was then that I knew what it was that I'd done
I had followed a map that I didn't write
I was set on a course that wasn't right
I had taken all the easy turns
But uncomplishment is a feeling that you have to earn
