To a distant place high above
Experimental projects to their wry naked eye
I stare upon the faces of these foreign beings.

Locked up and chained down
Lights, begin to dim
Waking up in darkness
Questioning what they'll do to me
Blinded by radiant flash
Sudden movement of machinery
Entrapment of my body
An experiment is all I seem to be

How can I explain that what is unseen
How sure can I be that they do exist

As another takes their turn I await to be believed

Are we not alone have we not figured out
That the truth is out there
