I saw a beard in the wind and a window rolled down in a Trans Am.
A blue bandana around his head - I think I just saw Jesus in a Trans Am.

Jesus drives a Trans Am.
A lightning yellow Trans Am.
Jesus drives a Trans Am on the highway to heaven.

Hitchhiked from South Tacoma Way - Jesus picked me up in a Trans Am.
Just got out of jail in California now he's preachin around the country in a Trans Am.

I asked him if my grandpa was in Heaven and he said he drove him there himself.
He said if I write this down he won't drop me off in Hell.
