I slowly drift away now
To a place I long to be.

And the crashing of the sea.
Each dream that I remember
Brings me closer to the truth.
Though I know this song, I must stay on,
The journey back to you.

To a city in the stars,
But it soon was clear that all I'd seen
Was the heaven in your eyes.
The hopes and dreams of a life it seems
Lie tattered on the ground.
The path through you won't lead me to
The truth that I have found.

An army of the walking dead
Won't keep me from the truth.
The need to see and the thirst in me
Are all I have of you.
The walls of the creator's house
Are now crumbling into the sea.
The search goes on, but the path is long.
