Life flashes before my eyes
I rather be in flames of hell
Nothing could be worst than this

Smoky bodies in the battle field
Bombs exploding, friends as human shields
Killing innocents for homeland pride
I fought this war that was not mine

This war was never mine

Then came that day you realize
All those ideals are untrue
Lies you lived for take their toll
Past demons are back for you

Senseless fears were planted in my head
Robot mind programmed only to obey
Life is built under my shattered dreams
Execution now seems kind to me

War brought out the worst in me
Kill or be killed, a soldier like me has no choice

Finally I'm ready to die, life after all is a slow suicide
Trained heart, obedient brain, we are just numbers
