I've been a punk now for 10 long years.
I've seen and played a lot of shows.
But nowadays it seems punk's nothing but a parody.
The spirit seems al but gone.

Where do we go?
When the fire is lost at the punk rock shows.

The world does not need punk rock in the way it is today.

Too many happy and polite songs.
This scene is more than unity.
Critical I am, and isn't that how punk began?
No love songs but a social rage.

I'll be a punk now for many more years.
I'll see and play a lot of shows.
Hoping that someday we will,
Find the fire burning still.
