Another poem for the 20th century
And a bleeding heart has fallen to an awful misery
Do you believe that it would happen on a shiny day
Huh, I tell you that is raining outside
What a sweet dedication
When that perfect world shows its glance and more
Through that old back door
What an outstanding view of
What an outstanding view of mediocrity
Oh, without sympathy, baby
But I can't hide
Oh, without sympathy, baby
But I can't hide
In my dreams I've got nightmares
Full of blood and death and that herbal tea
Oh, pell it with a "b"
But when the moon's getting darker
I can feel the years still weighed on me
Oh, tell me that I am young
So that I can hide
And I call
Call the one who is running 'round
He will not tread in
What he is believing
Everything happens ... someday
All the life all the wounds
Will not be cleaned
By the pouring rain
It's always the same
Can't you hear my calling
In the darkness of despondency
Where I am, where I am
Oh no
Oh no
Watch me darling, please don't go
Together we will hide
From the one
From the one who is running 'round
He will not tread in
What he is believing
Things that will happen ... someday
But I won't stay
