Black woods surround me

Drawn ever closer
The hunter's prey
Lost in madness
To realms forlorn
Glimpse through the treeline
A semi-cervidian form

Disease of the mind
Fear from inside
Claw at the shadows unending
His gaze meeting mine
The animals eyes

As the antlers they pierce me
