An i was born on a cold, wet autumn day in 1970 in a brown, dirty hospital bed with my mother
She just birthed me out, right there on the floor and i wasn't afraid because i'd been in my mothers stomach for nine months, as was having quite a wonderful time
And it was so great because above the hospital was a rainbow
A beautiful rainbow
And the rainbow is a beautiful thing
And this song is called "all the colors of the rainbow"
And its solely dedicated to all the colors of the rainbow
And we love rainbows, and we're serious
We're not fucking around either
And we are the first band in the history of rock and roll to sing a song sooooo dedicated to all the colors of the rainbow
And we know that there is over sixty psychedelic groups that like to go around, singing songs about the fucking rainbow

And we know that a lot of those motherfuckers are fucking around and there are some people that really matter

But you know fuck all those guys

And i did hang out with them for a couple years

And so i was hanging around with them, over some easy shit and they started talking about the rainbow

And they didnt really care about the rainbow

But we really do
