Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry
When I take you out in my surrey

When I set those high steppin' strutters
Nosey pokes will peak through their shutters
And their eyes will pop
The wheels are yeller, the apholstery's brown
The dashboard's genuine leather
With icing-glass curtain's you can roll right down
In case there's a change in the weather
Two bright side lights, winkin' n blinkin'
Ain't no finer rig I"m a thinkin'
You can keep your rig if yer thinkin'
That I'd care to swap
For that shiny, little surray
With a fringe on the top
The Sun is creepin'
By the edge of the hill
The moon is taking a header

A lark will wake up in the meader
