Sometimes... Sometimes our words can only bring pain

Words said in haste are full of emotion
Think of the waste
We're hurting each other

So that's why we lie
& try not to show our true colours
It's better to hide than to rage in silence
So that's why we lie,
Then no-one will ever discover
The secrets deep down inside & why we lie

The party's over
& who takes the blame
