Curious moon, shine tonight
Make this dark world of truths bright
The schizoid sons and the sluts live on,
And on, to find their coffins

Ignorance has got us down,
So far that we smother in the underground
Because we want to
The idiots have no name, but we have troubles,
We have love just the same as all of you do
Can't you see the Poison Moon?
It's calling to you, calling to you
The idiots are in a line marching under the moon

Do you have to live in a world of nails
And leave your soul in an empty pail?
Don't talk to me about the end
I've seen the bomb, it's been my best friend

Misery has got us down,
So far we struggle in the underground,
Because we want to
See the child loose his mind?
Its funny how he's struggling to show a sign
He must be lying!
Can't you see the Poison Moon?

The miserable are in a line, marching under the moon
