In the news of TV, hopeless lifes, hate and blood
I have never seen worse than this
Children playing with boats at the war scenes
I can only wonder
What is the reason for all this?

And still we all are carrying on
All of us, the old and the young
Children are born, living in their dreams
Sailing through those dreamy scenes

Generations come and go
They don't seem to get wiser at all
There's a man sleeping with a bottle
Ask him and he just turns around
