Hiding by day, walking by night
Weeks and months a blur of hunger
Thirst, sickness, violence and fear
Europe closes one door
The smugglers open another
Putting food in their bellies will not stop them

She was sixteen years old and pregnant
By her murdered husband
She had contractions but the baby came feet-first
Gloria took
Three hours to die
She was buried with her baby inside her
Under leaves - because the ground was too hard
