There is a need inside of me
To know why I'm here and what I can be
The way is open to become all I can
It's found within our Father's plan

And He who has all power
Foresees my destiny
The wonderful story of His work and glory
Is eternal life for me

Just like a seed struggling to grow
As something divine stirs in my soul
Eternal promise to become all I can
If I learn to live by our Father's plan

Within the seed I learn to see
The promise of a towering tree
Within this soul I yearn to free what's inside of me

I live to be worthy of the power He gives
To return home to Him and live as He lives

The marvelous plan of the Father of man
