It's a working life
Even though some nights are starstruck
Most days are gloomy and grey
And they have a choice
The road leads strictly one way
No matter what they want, or say

And here I stand
Waiting for you to fulfil your promises
You say: I promised nothing at all
And there you are,
Browsing through your calendar
I say: There is no time left,
– no time at all
