The Brain
Light breaks, though no sun shines; confusion prevails.
Fair blood swirls inside me, thoughts jolt me awake.
I battle polar emotions, I tear, I don't break.
Stem brain pulsations through trepanation.
I will mark the point alone, and then manoeuvre through the bone.
Like some spectre haunting, my nature's taunting me.
There's confusion in the framework of the seeds that make my brain.
'Know Thy Self'
Vices old twisted my shape.
Come the stroke.
Come the snake tongue.
I sharpened my blade.
I battle polar emotions.
I tear.
I don't break.
