Just woke up. Got a beer in my cup, ‘cause it's already hotter than hell.
The AC's gone, but the fan's still on in this cheap beach motel.
So my boys and I climb in and drive down to milepost 5.
And I can feel the temperature rise.

It's gonna be a hot one!
Soaking it up while the sun beats down.
Bring a cooler if you got one.
Ain't nothing else to do in this one beach town.
All I need is the sea in front of me. Sand under me.
Yeah, it's gonna be hot. (Ready or not.)

It's high noon now on this motel towel, and I just burned my feet.
There ain't no breeze. ‘Bout a hundred degrees.
Let's go get something to eat.
Wait.
There's some girls, by the shore, that we met before.
There were three. Now there's more.
And they're bringing us beer.
Good Lord, looks like…
