Seems that every day I face
A struggle in my soul
Keeping out the enemy
That's fighting for control
And I know I should be strong,
But it's hard to stand against
What I can't see.
But somewhere deep inside my heart,
A passage is revealed,
Reminding me to let Your Word
Become my sword and shield,
And it's comforting to know
That the Devil has no power over me.

I'm livin' in the pages,
Of where I need to stay,
Leaning on the promises
To get me thru each day,
I'm finding strength
I need at every turn,
I'm livin' in the pages

I am standing here amazed
At how very long ago You knew
The kind of day I'd have today
What I'd be going thru and
That everything I'd need
Was written down so many years ago.
And everyday I'm finding out
The time is hard to find,
And when I lose my time with You
I find the loss is mine
So Fill me with Your words
Till everyone who sees my life will know,
