A nickel's worth of sense
Is a dollar to the wise
If you ain't got any you'll wind up a penny
Lying on a dead man's eyes

I could have no way of knowing
Love would come and clip me like a coin

It tossed me up there single handed
And left me, where I landed

I feel like pocket change
Something in a drawer
Something you pich against the sidewalk bricks
On a day when you're feeling bored

I don't know what hurts the worst
Landing on my head or on my tail

If things don't change I swear I aim
To jump down somebody's wishing well

Or maybe I'll jump down a slot machine out in Vegas
And turn myself into one Million, in just one hit
I'm gonna throw myself around, like there ain't no tomorrow
Until I'm nothing, I will be nothing
