I worked the dayshift down at the pizza place
She and a friend were headed to the beach

Well I remember the time when we drove down too
Down to the planet called sunday afternoon
But she walked out there with tears in her eyes
Yea i was scared but i came as no suprise

Is that i wont come back

I though about the reasons
And yea i'll stay

Walk out is the hardest thing to do
Looking in his eyes as i walk out of the room
I told myself i was finished with the past
Seems the past isnt finished with me yet
