With Hope Songtext

I only prayed because I always do.
Doesn't hurt just to ask when you've given up on everything and
I spoke the words I'd never prayed before
But I knew they were hid somewhere deep inside Your word and then I
Felt like maybe I should read it,
So I opened up.
Those words I spoke in desperation
Were staring back at me with hope.
Thank you Jesus for answering me in Your word.

All was lost.
Now is found.
Like before, when I called,
You answered.
Every prayer now has been filled with hope.

The words I prayed sounded a little strange, asking You
To restore all the years the locusts had devoured.
And almost like I saw a miracle,
I flipped open the page to see You saying how you would restore them
Word for word out of a thousand pages
This is what I read.
I feel a gentle peace as a tear rolls down.
You wanted me to see.
Thank you Jesus for answering me in Your word.

All was lost.
Now is found.
Like before, when I called,
You answered.
Every prayer now has been filled with hope.
